Remembering Mahasweta Devi, The Social Activist On Her Birth Anniversary

Born on 14 January, 1926 in Bangladesh, Mahasweta Devi was the recipient of Sahitya Akademi Award for Bengali Writing, Ramon Magsaysay Award for Journalism, Jnanpith Award and was honoured with the titles of Padma Vibhusan and Banga Vibhusan.
